My Rating: 4 out of 5 🏹
Continuing to move on from sidekick to supervillain Harley is convinced that she needs a crew or some goons to truly become a respectable supervillain. Ivy tries to convince Harley that a woman can’t be a supervillain by sending her to meet the queen of fables.
Harley all but ignores the warnings and enlists Dr. Psycho, who is dealing with public outcries for using the ‘C’ word and Clayface who is always looking for his next big role. Together they attempt to rob Maxie Zeus, self proclaimed supervillain and all round douchebag, with hilarious consequences.
Episode 3 continues the laugh a minute momentum along the way introducing new characters into the show. The angry little psychic Dr. Psycho provides outrageous laugh out loud funny moments, Harley and Ivy keep up the witty one liners and Frank chimes in at genius moments. It may sound strange for an animation but the chemistry between Ivy and Frank is utterly brilliant, the way they interact is so naturally (no pun intended) perfect.
All in all Harley Quinn shows no signs of slowing down or scaling down the humour and NSFW attitude, for this I commend the makers. This show is so true to the character, with Kaley Cuoco quickly becoming a fan favourite as Harley.
